The BTP140Z has 16 clutch settings and two speeds with 0-700 RPM in low and 0-2,300 RPM in high. For drilling into concrete and masonry, the BTP140Z delivers 0-27,600 blows per minute (BPM). In impact mode, the BTP140Z has 0-3,200 impacts per minute for a range of fastening tasks. Makita's proprietary hammer and anvil impact mechanism is manufactured using the best raw materials with the highest quality steel and unique heat hardening process for maximum fastening and driving power.
